The Winterthur Technology Group is present everywhere in the world where demanding industries employ innovative abrasive solutions to boost their productivity and profitability. Consistent with Winterthur’s claim to take customer proximity seriously, the company has strategically positioned 14 production sites with sufficient capacities across the globe. Winterthur is particularly well represented in its home market of Europe. It also has two production sites in the USA and one in India and China, providing three solid foundations for successful international trade. Especially the rapidly growing industries of India and China will become increasingly attractive for high-tech providers in the future. Winterthur Schleiftechnik AG, Winterthur Switzerland
Winterthur, home of the corporate headquarters, is the group’s heart from where the board of directors and management guide the group and define its strategies. In addition, the main warehouse for high-quality grinding wheels is located in Winterthur. The grinding wheel blanks are finished there on order and are shipped throughout the entire world.

 

Rappold Winterthur Technology GmbH, Villach Austria
At the headquarters of the oldest company within the group, founded in 1876, approx. 360 employees develop and produce mainly large cut-off wheels for the steel industry. The plant with the highest capacity within the group produces approximately 5,000 metric tonnes of high-tech grinding wheels a year in its state-of-the-art equipped production facilities.

The sales company represents the whole Winterthur Technolgy Group in Germany. Our range of products: vitrified precision grinding wheels, plus resin bonded, diamond and CBN grinding wheels, flexible abrasives, dressing tools, machines and services.

SlipNaxos AB, Västervik Sweden
Founded
back in 1895, the company has had its headquarters in Västervik since 1920. In the world's most modern and largest facility, 160 employees develop and produce hot-pressed grinding wheels for grinding billets and slabs in the steel industry.

WENDT GmbH, Meerbusch Germany
Wendt Group headquarters is home to management, engineering and sales. Innovative systems
for grinding hard material, steel and glass are developed and produced here. Approximately 500 employees work at the oldest and largest of Wendt's sites.

Wendt GmbH, Niederstetten Germany
At the Niederstetten plant, roughly 100 employees produce all types of Wendt grinding wheels, excluding vitrified bonded DIA and CBN wheels.

WENDT Hameln
is worldwide one of the most important suppliers of diamond and CBN precision-grinding wheels for single and double disc surface grinding machines with lapping kinematics. In addition, 30 employees develop and produce special face grinding wheels for through feed processes in vitrified and resin specifications.

Wendt GmbH, Jena (Deutschland)
At the production site in Jena the Wendt specialists are currently working on small grinding tools in metal, ceramic and resin bonds.

WENDT Egnach ranks among the leading manufacturers of general electroplated diamond and CBN precision tools. In addition to these products, approx. 45 employees develop and produce diamond and CBN tools for the gear-cutting industry.

WENDT BOART S.A., Nivelles Belgium
In Nivelles, approx. 150 employees focus on innovative systems for grinding, cutting off or drilling hard material, steel or glass. In addition, Wendt Boart supplies the glass and mechanical industry with diamond and CBN tools.

Winterthur Technologie France, Limonest France
With 16 employees, WTG France is today one of the leading companies for diamond,   CBN and conventioal tools as well as precision grinding machines used by the automotive industry, the ball-bearing industry, precision-tool manufacturers and the glass-grinding industry.

WINTERTHUR TECHNOLOGY IBÉRICA S.L. , El Masnou Spain
The sales and service branch for the Spanish and Portuguese market, mainly concentrates on products for the automotive, aerospace, steel and wood industry as well as tool manufacturers and the glass-grinding industry.

STANKOWENDT, Moscow Russia
One of the leading grinding-machine manufacturers in Russia, Wendt supplies machines for grinding hard materials and dressing grinding wheels. Diamond and CBN tools as well as machine retrofitting and repair also belong to the service portfolio. 

Winterthur Technology Diacraft Division, Wixom (USA)
Production of vitrified bonded diamond grinding wheels for CBN and PCD tools as well as synthetic-resin-bonded diamond and CBN tools for tungsten carbide, ceramics and steel. Portfolio also includes everything associated with glass grinding and the Wendt machine program.

Winterthur Technology Dunnington Division, Royersford (USA)
Winterthur Technology Dunnington, a system provider, supplies grinding solutions for almost all applications of precision grinding with diamond and CBN tools and focuses on industry branches processing steel and super alloys.

Winterthur Technology, China
In the new plant and with a current workforce of 30, the Chinese colleagues produce high-quality grinding tools. They offer the entire range of Wendt's high-quality grinding tools with the exception of grinding wheels with electroplated bonds.
