Today, cut-off grinding has clearly edged out sawing as the preferred means of cutting slab and long material, such as bars and hollow stock, to length. RAPOSTEEL® LIGHT combines technically enhanced performance with minimised environmental impact and is a very good example of the company’s philosophy. It features a synthetic resin bond, a composite construction and comes with a recyclable steel core. The core may be returned to the plant for resurfacing to the guaranteed same specifications as the original, like all other cut-off wheels in the RAPOSTEEL® series.
RAPOSTEEL® LIGHT cut-off wheels are manufactured with a conical form, i.e. tapered to the spindle opening. If required, RAPPOLD will provide the RAPOSTEEL® cut-off wheels with reinforced centres, offering greater strength, resistance to breakage and distinct advantages for the environment.
